Soccer Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Increases Reward for Lost Pet in Mexico to £15k
Welsh football star Aaron Ramsey has boosted the bounty for leads concerning the lost dog Halo to £15,000.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who currently plays for Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, revealed that the beagle was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
The beagle, who disappeared on October 9th, was wearing a GPS collar, and the footballer shared a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any information regarding our pet Halo kindly contact us. Significant reward for reuniting with her. We are all praying she's ok and will return to our family quickly," Ramsey shared on social media.
Earlier Bounty and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey first revealed that Halo had disappeared two weeks ago and has since uploaded several images of the beloved dog on his social media account.
A $10,000 reward was originally announced, but with absence of information on the dog's status after a week, the player and his family increased the sum.
"Our only wish is Halo back," he expressed in an additional appeal on social media after the 10-year-old pet was lost.
A recent photograph share is a black and white snapshot of the beagle sleeping, its head resting in the curve of Ramsey's elbow, with the caption: "How I wish to embrace you one last time Halo."
Household's Worries and Background
The footballer has also posted a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels indicating they have a few "important concerns" regarding the incident and worry the family "might not obtain answers".
"We have yet to haven't found Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's update read.
The Wales skipper joined Mexican first division team Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and had his inaugural match in the Mexican league in August.
Born in Caerphilly player is the first high profile British player to compete in the Mexico's top division.
