Assassin's Creed Unveils Unexpected AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising crossover event that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations echo through the shadows." The plot presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden cult.
The adventure focuses on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content
Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an special katana together with several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Third Free Story Content
This patch also adds the game's third free story content, titled "The Enigma."
